Cowan Museum

Over 2,000 items fill the historic Kelly-Farrior House that serves as a museum. Artifacts reflecting the heritage of rural North Carolina include farming implements, household items from the 18th and 19th centuries, and tools of all kinds. One-room log schoolhouse, log tobacco barn, one-room furnished log cabin and blacksmith shop on the grounds. Free. Kenansville, Duplin County, NC.
