Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Cuyahoga Valley National Park is a unit of the National Park Service and consists of 33,000 acres located between Cleveland and Akron. The park preserves and interprets both natural and cultural history of the Cuyahoga River Valley, including the history of the Ohio & Erie Canal.

Hiking, biking, and bridle trails are found within the park and a variety of programs are available to visitors throughout the year. Cuyahoga Valley National Park operates six visitor contact facilities in Summit and Cuyahoga Counties, which have a variety of hours depending upon the season.
