Dave Boyer Lake

Lake Boyer was built in 1936 by the WPA and named for Dave Boyer, Walters’ pioneer businessman and former state senator, who was instrumental in making the project a reality.

Facilities include a boat ramp and fishing dock, and picnic tables. Lakeside Golf Course lies around the outside limits of the lake. It has a shoreline length of 3 miles.
