Educational Alpaca Farm Tours
What is an Alpaca? What are they used for? What makes them so rare and valuable?
Here's your chance to participate in a unique educational alpaca adventure, tailored to the age, needs and interest of individuals, families, clubs, classes or groups. There is so much to learn about this exquisite and little known animal! Did you know they produce fiber in more than 24 shades of color? That they spit at the male to let them know they are pregnant? Whether it?s a preschool, retirement home, 4H club, Boy Scout troop or future alpaca farmer, we offer a program that is interesting, economical and fun filled for all!
Programs include:
? An interactive style with hands-on learning for all participants.
? Interesting details of the Alpaca and its world, emphasizing History, Geography, Fine Arts and other skills at the participants level.
? Up close and personal experience with the animals
? A Fiber to Fashion opportunity to visit the farm gift store that features luxurious alpaca garments, accessories, rugs and bears.
Tours may be arranged Monday thru Saturday but please…appointments only. Come join us for an educational, relaxing, fun-filled day on a very special farm.
