Finnish Heritage Museum in Fairport Harbor

The Finnish Heritage Museum is dedicated to preserve and perpetuate Finnish heritage and cultural traditions.  The museum collects, perserves and exhibits special books, documents, records, and other objects related to the history, biography, genealogy, commerce and folklore of the Finnish/American population.

In addition, the association supports research and publishes information about these collections, publicly disseminates information about the collections, celebrates important Finnish historical anniversaries, and will develop an outreach program with the schools, libraries, and other organizations to further educate the general public of Finnish heritage in America.

The museum gift shop offers a wide selection of gifts. The musuem coffee shop serves our private label coffee and nisu, a Finnish coffee bread seasoned with cardamon.  Finnish Heritage Museum coffee is available for sale in one pound bags, both ground and whole bean.
