Gene Taylor Library and Museum

At the northeast corner of the Square is a replica of an office used by Congressman Gene Taylor during this 16-year tenure in Washington, DC. This building houses mementos of Mr. Taylor’s years in public service. History on the Wild Peony fields, as well as other various memorabilia on Sarcoxie’s rich history is also on display.


The Tourist Information Center and Chamber of Commerce are also located in this building.
