German-American Club of Albany

The Schuetzenpark Biergarten on the grounds of the German-American Club of Albany is the last of the original German Biergartens in the Capital District. During the summer, we host and cater our own summer picnics in our large pine tree shaded Biergarten. Our picnic area can easily accommodate 400 people. The picnic area includes a grilling pavilion, bandstand, dance floor, bar area, and restroom facilities. Whether you are planning a family reunion or picnic, a company outing, or a fundraiser our outdoor facility would be perfect for your occasion.

The German-American Club hosts numerous festivals throughout the year including; Wurstfest (January), Schnitzelfest (April), Bierfest (May), Summerfest (August), and Oktoberfest (October). Please call ahead for exact dates. The club is the leader in striving to promote and continue German-American culture and tradition in upstate New York.
