We offer 14 downhill trails, a custom-built beginner area featuring a NEW conveyor lift, a full snowboard terrain park serviced by a quad chairlift AND a handle tow. And you can count on snow; Great Bear continues to invest in snowmaking and grooming equipment to ensure some the most consistent snow skiing and snowboarding conditions in the Midwest.

If you’re not into skiing or snowboarding, go old school, at the Kirby Family Tubing Park. Four lanes of thrills and chills, and no more walking up the hill, since the Park is outfitted with a custom-built surface-lift system. The only one of its kind in eastern South Dakota.
