Greene County Historical Society Museum

Displays of early county history, Native American artifacts, Civil War memorabilia, early transportation. Exhibits dedicated to notable people, including an astronaut, Olympic gold medalist, Medal of Honor winner, and the designer of the Congressional Medal of Honor flag. See early American period rooms, country store, barber shop, doctor and dentist offices, bank, and coal mine exhibit. Farm machinery displayed at county fairgrounds — open by appointment and during fair.
