Greenville Museum of Art

The museum, founded in 1939 as a Works Progress Administration Gallery, now houses an impressive collection of 20th-century American art and the largest permanent display of Jugtown Pottery in eastern North Carolina. Contemporary works by North Carolina artists and exhibits of national, regional and local importance.
