Hartwell Lake

Hartwell Lake is a 56,000 acre lake operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers on the Georgia border. The lake is formed by the Savannah, Seneca, Tugaloo, and Chauga Rivers. Public access is provided by a number of public boat ramps, local parks, and Sadlers Creek and Lake Hartwell State Recreation Areas. I-85 crosses the lake near Clemson and Fair Play.
