Historic Tour

The Chamber of Commerce has designed a walking/driving tour of historic sites throughout Aurora including sixteen historic buildings and homes dating from 1880 to the early 1900s, one being the Elliott home, the residence of Stephen and Anna Elliott who donated the land for the original plat of the town.

The tour begins at the historic MOPAC Train Station where visitors can obtain a printed brochure with brief histories, sketches, and map locations of the sites.
