Hitching Post Campground
The Hitching Post Campground is a tranquil 44 acre resort, nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge, just minutes from Chimney Rock, Bat Cave & Lake Lure. We have full hook-ups for overnight & yearly RV’s as well as tent sites, an apartment & bunkhouse. Come enjoy the quiet family atmosphere, the wildlife & beauty of the western NC mountains & the southern hospitality of the Hitching Post. We have a fishing pond on the property so don’t forget your fishing pole.
