Huggy Bear Campground

The Van Wert area is abuzz with lots of activities and events scheduled for 2007. Campers will enjoy the hospitality found at Huggy Bear Campground, located on 27 acres with a 3 acre pond for swimming and fishing. We also offer an in-ground pool for your enjoyment. We have a challenging 18 hole mini golf course. All of the camp sites offer water, electric, and fire ring. We also have sites with sewer hook-up. Other amenities include a playground, camp store, a game room, basketball, a baseball field, a soccer field, horseshoe courts, and a coin laundry.   Huggy Bear also is home to Huggy Bear RV sales. We are proud to carry Salem campers by Forest River. We offer new and used RV's from Salem and service what we sell.
