Hugo Lake Area Hunting
The Hugo Public Hunting Area covers 18,196 acres of land and water for wildlife conservation. Although there are some restricted areas, nearly all project lands are open to hunting. Principal wildlife species in the area include waterfowl, white tailed deer, bobwhite quail, dove, squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, opossum, fox, mink and beaver.
