Hunting

Hunters come to Harlan County from every state in the Union for deer, turkey, pheasant, quail, ducks, geese, and doves.

Success is so high and hospitality is so warm, that they have been returning for years and years. Most lodging places either have kennel facilities or can make arrangements for kennels. With the federal land surrounding Harlan County Lake, Conservation Reserve land and the Huntley Lion Club’s 40,000 acres, there is always a great place to hunt in Harlan County.
