John Bryan State Park

John Bryan State Park is located in Greene County, only 27 miles from Dayton. The scenic Little Miami River winds through this park and the adjacent Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve. The river gorge features rock formations and the forest is dotted with wildflowers shaded by massive trees.

Hike 10 miles of nature trails in the gorge and along the rim. For adventure seekers, a rock climbing & rappelling area is available by permission from the park office. Organized groups may reserve the rappelling site by calling (937) 767-1274.

Pick 1 of 100 campsites with/without electric. Pets allowed on designated sites. A group camp area accommodating up to 100 persons, may be reserved.

A rustic day-use lodge featuring 2 fireplaces, restrooms, & kitchen may be reserved for meetings & other gatherings. Call the park for availability & reservations.

The Little Miami River provides excellent stream fishing for bass & panfish. Bow hunting only is permitted by lottery drawing in specially designated areas.

2006 Camping Fees $16-$20/night for non-electric/electric sites. Call 1-800-OHIO-PARKS for reservations.
