Keller Park Wildlife

Nature lovers will find Keller Park SRA a mecca for all manner of wildlife, from songbirds to whitetails and an occasional mule deer. During the spring and fall migration periods, whispering wings include ducks like mallards, teal and shovelers, as well as hawks and maybe even an eagle or two . Sharp-eyed bird watchers may spot sandhill cranes as they wing overhead, and maybe, if they are lucky, even one of the rare whooping cranes that like to stop over on the nearby Niobrara River.
