Kiawah Island Golf Resort
This idyllic South Carolina destination offers two resort villages, posh villas, the recently opened Sanctuary Hotel, restaurants, shopping, 10 miles of Kiawah Island’s pristine beaches, two tennis centers and a full range of outdoor activities. Five championship golf courses include designs by Player, Nicklaus, Fazio, Clyde Johnston and Pete Dye’s Ocean Course, which hosted the 2003 and 1991 Ryder Cup and the 1997 World Cup of Golf and is soon to host the 2007 PGA Senior Championship and the 2012 PGA Championship.
