Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum – “A Salute to Pittsburgh!”
The Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum in Wheeling, West Virginia will be hosting the temporary exhibit “A Salute to Pittsburgh”. The exhibit, which runs from April 13 through July 8, 2007 at the museum, features toys, memorabilia and artifacts related to the heritage and history of the Steel City to our north!
Through Pittsburgh theme toys, toys made in and near Pittsburgh, and artifacts related to Pittsburgh, this exhibit will introduce museum visitors to a sampling of the rich history of Pittsburgh, through its businesses, people, sports teams and more! Visitors will see how this city has a life and a personality unto itself, a pulse which has been reflected over the years in playthings.
The Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum is currently on its winter hours, and is open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Beginning with Memorial Day Weekend, the museum will go to Summer Hours, and will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM seven days a week.
