Lake Altus Hunting

The Altus-Lugert public hunting area consists of approximately 3,600 acres at the upper end of the lake. Food for the wildlife is provided by lands planted to maize, millet and winter wheat. Quail, waterfowl, turkey, crow and predator species are available for hunting.
