Come celebrate West Virginia’s Birthday with us. We will have period music by “WhA-KE-WE-NN” during the time period. Civil War Reenactors will be encamped on the lawn talking with people about the life of a soldier. Have lemonade on the front porch and learn how West Virginia became a state by Dr. JoAnn Lough. Tour the museum which is on the National Register of Historic Sites. Drinks and hot dogs will be on sale in front of the Court House. Take time to go to other sites in our city as Prickett’s Fort and the historic graveyards.
