Marquart Hall – Marvin’s Work Shop

Jane E Marquart, along with the Nuckolls County Historical Society, offers you her brother’s priceless collection.

Marvin E. Marquart dreamed of planes. His model airplane collection of over 3,000 planes, space craft, air-craft carriers, etc. has been put together over the years. Marvin was self-taught from a young man to adulthood. His collection is made of wood, corn cobs and plastic and he sent for models from all over the world.

Marvin grew up on the farm and lived on the family farm, except for two years when he served his country in the Armed Forces, where he was a radio operator. He learned to speak different languages. The Nuckolls County Museum wishes to thank Jane, a very special lady, for this fine collection. Marquart Hall will also house items of Jane’s parents.
