Matilda and Karl Pfeiffer Museum

Museum and study center to provide educational and cultural experiences for school groups and the general public. Programs and experiences are focused on historic house and grounds, a world-class mineral collection, and a Native American artifact collection.

Tour includes:

– 1930’s Tudor Revival home
– Eleven acres natural gardens
– Mineral collection of over 1,400 specimens from around the world
– Library of over 1,600 books
– Native American artifacts collected locally
– Scenes from “A Face in the Crowd” the 1956 movie filmed on site
– Museum store
