Miami County Swan River Museum
Miami County Historical Museum is the one and only official source of Miami County, Kansas historical information. You will find the most extensive and detailed historical information and display of historic artifacts, writings, and photographs in all of Eastern Kansas.
Truly something for Everyone. Come see military displays, Native American and pioneer artifacts, vintage clothing, furniture, toys, fishing and sports equipment, and much more. We also feature books, maps, music, and exhibits dedicated to mid 1800 Border Wars and the 2nd U.S. Oil Well. Our Early History room has the Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne artifacts from the old mission site.
We change one room each month for rotating displays. Visit us regularly and you’ll discover something new each time.
