Monongalia Arts Center – Senior Showcase

This exhibition will feature artwork created by individuals age 55 older.
Older adults play an important role in our community including their ability to bring beauty, culture and meaning to our lives through their work as artists. 2006 will mark the 15th year this exhibit has been organized in Morgantown.

Dr. Victoria Fergus, professor in the Division of Art at West Virginia University will select the top 3 entries to receive a Judge’s Choice Award. A public awards reception will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the Benedum Gallery, 107 High Street, Morgantown, WV.

Individuals interested in entering may obtain a prospectus online at www.monartscenter.com, Barry’s Office Service, Appalachian Gallery, or the Greater Morgantown Convention & Visitors Bureau. Entries are to be brought to Monongalia Arts Center, Tuesday, May 23, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Only two entries allowed per senior. .
