Historic site located on the Blue Ridge Parkway. 3600 acres of forests, meadows and wildflowers. Bass Lake and Trout Lake. 26 miles of carriage roads for walking/horseback riding. The Cone home, Flat Top Manor, is on the National Register of Historic Places. Ranger-led tours of house offered seasonally on weekends
