Museum of Life and Science

A 78-acre, 68,000-square-foot regional, interactive science technology center featuring the exciting new “Explore the Wild” exhibit, a state-of-the-art technology look into the dynamic natural landscape of wetlands, its wildlife, plant life, and supporting habitats. Home to black bears, red wolves, and lemurs living in a preserved natural setting with the ambient sound of waterfalls and streams. Also newly opened this year is “Catch the Wind,” offering a series of large-scale interactive, environmental exhibits that express how wind influences the environment. This must-see museum also includes an aerospace exhibit, wildlife, Ellerbee Creek Railway, Magic Wings Butterfly House, and Bayer CropScience Insectarium.
