Nicholsons Tavern & Pub

Nicholson's Tavern & Pub adds character and excitement to the old world charm and tradition of the Backstage District in downtown Cincinnati. Opened in December of 1997, we're located directly across from the main entrance of the Aronoff Center for the Arts. Our 7,500 square-foot tavern houses a series of individually decorated dining rooms, such as the expansive pub with 16 ft. ceilings and the intimate Hearth Room with lower ceilings and fireplace. Two outdoor patios frame the base building which stretches from the corner of Gano Alley and Walnut to Ruth Lyons Lane.

The grand center piece of the pub is the bar, with over 80 linear feet of mahogany bar surface and 40 seats. The bar is sheltered with a towering, mahogany and copper roof that is supported by gilded Corinthian columns. Nicholson's Draft system was imported from scotland and we carry the best single malt scotch selection in the region, really.
