North Carolina Botanical Garden

One of the largest natural botanical gardens in the Southeast consists of display gardens featuring native plants, herbs, natural habitats, children’s area, nature trails, outdoor sculptures, nature art (indoor gallery), classes, workshops, plant sales and gift shop. Offers standard free 1-hour guided tour each Saturday.
