The cottage is located on an old farm, in midcoast Maine, in the town of Appleton. It is available for retreats for individuals, couples, or small groups. One room with loft, the cottage can sleep 4. A woodstove and kerosene lamps add to the charm. Cozy and bright inside, $75/night includes a hearty breakfast, and miles of well-groomed trails outside to hike, X-country ski, or horseback ride. Sauna, hot tub and massage available by appointment. Also offered is short term and long term boarding for horses; 12 by 12 boxstalls and plenty of pasture.
