Muny Park:

Muny Park contains the Legion Baseball field, horseshoe courts, volleyball courts, playground equipment, picnic shelter, outdoor grill, picnic tables, public restrooms, RV electrical hookups, RV dump station, three soccer fields, Olympic sized swimming pool and a hard surfaced exercise trail measuring .62 of a mile in length.

Located at 14th and “O” Streets

Centennial Park:

Tennis courts, playground equipment and picnic tables

Located at 18th and “H” Streets

Central Park:

Central Park has playground equipment, public restrooms, a picnic shelter and picnic tables. This park includes part of the Robert Henri Historical Walkway.

Located at 9th and “F” Streets

Bellamy Park:

The Monroe and Paulsen softball fields are located at this park.

Located at the South end of the Railroad viaduct at 2nd Street and Meridian Avenue

Frenchy Memorial Park:

This park features playground equipment, picnic tables and an outdoor grill.

Located at 7th and “A” Streets

Sportsman Field:

Featuring tennis courts, public restrooms, playground equipment and a ballfield used for Little League games.

Located at 19th and “B” Streets

Stuckey Park:

This park is used for Little League softball and baseball.

Located adjacent to North Grade School on West 16th between “K” and “M” Streets

100th Meridian Park:

Contains historical information of the 100th Meridian. The Union Pacific Depot has been renovated to house the United Way and other Human Resources Offices. United Way has a caboose for the curious tourist.

Located along U.S. Highway 30 and Meridian Avenue

Gallagher Canyon State Recreation Area:

Open year round. Primative camping available for $3. Park entry permit required. 308-785-2685

Located 8 miles South of Cozad, 2 miles East, 1 mile North, 1 mile West
