Reed Gold Mine

Today, Reed Gold Mine is the only underground gold mind open to the public. There, visitors tour the tunnels dug by Reeds as they followed gold-bearing quartz veins deep underground. They walk along wooded trails past areas where Reed family members dug for god and view exhibits of gold and historical mining equipment in the Visitors Center.
