State Forests
Rendezvous Mountain Educational State Forest
Part of the NC system of Educational State Forests. Park covers 3300 acres providing picnicking and hiking opportunities as well as educational programs by reservation. Fire tower on the mountain. Top of mountain overlooks Wilkesboro. Our newest feature are the “Talking Trees.”
