Riverside Nature Center

Because of it’s proximity to the Animas River within the wooded Animas Park, the Riverside Nature Center and it’s Wetlands are jewels you must visit. Wildlife is abundant in the Wetlands and around the Nature Center – and so are the programs and events hosted by the knowledgeable Nature Center staff and volunteers. Within the Nature Center, you will also find “Cottonwoods,” the Nature Center store.

While visiting the Nature Center, don’t forget to visit the Herb and Xeriscape Gardens.
