Ross County Heritage Center

The Ross County Heritage Center in Chillicothe, Ohio’s First Capital, is the place to be to if you want to see fascinating exhibits on everything from Ohio statehood, prehistoric cultures, the Civil War and World War I to horse-drawn vehicles, early automobiles, railroad history, historical toys & dolls and more!  Tours include the new Heritage Hall, Ross County Museum, Knoles Log House and Franklin House Museum.  And while you’re here, ask about the onsite McKell Library where thousands of historical books, documents and photographs are located and available for viewing.
