Dead Timber State Recreation Area/Powderhorn Wildlife Management Area – Both areas provide an ideal setting for outdoor activities. Dead Timber is a 200-acre area with newly-remodeled facilities for camping, fishing, and hiking. Campers at Dead Timber will find electrical hookups, water, picnic shelters and fireplaces. Dead Timber offers peaceful seclusion for an afternoon or weekend.
