Sullivan-Johnson Museum

Built as a stately private residence, circa 1896, this elegant three-story structure is now home to the many notable exhibits that are a key part of Hardin County’s heritage.

The World Famous Kenton Toys Collection, dating back to 1898, a gallery devoted to Jacob Parrott, the nation’s First Congressional Medal of Honor winner, and Fred & Sara Machetanz-Gallery of Alaskan Art including Trapper’s Trail and Arctic Night, the original oil paintings are the highlighted exhibits you’ll find.

The large veranda is a great place to enjoy a quiet morning retreat with a selection of juices, treats, and little music.
