The Big Muskie Bucket
See the actual bucket from Big Muskie, which was the World's Largest Dragline and one of the seven engineering wonders of the world! It has even been featured on the History Channel! The Bucket weighs 460,000 pounds empty and carried an additional 640,000 pounds when loaded. Its volume is equal to that of a twelve car garage. The artifact is now the centerpiece of Miner's Memorial Park, which pays tribute to the mining men and women of Southeastern Ohio.
This one-of-a-kind historical site has been designated by the state of Ohio as a "Great Ohio Adventure of Learning" and is only 16 miles West of Caldwell I-77 Exit 25 and right along SR 78. Visit the memorial to find out why it attracts people from all over the world. Park your car next to the bucket and get a picture of your family in it. We guarantee you'll be captured forever with fascination and disbelief.
For more information visit the Tracker Artisan and Info Center right behind McDonalds at the Caldwell I-77 Exit 25.
