The Davenport Homestead

Built by Daniel Davenport, Washington County’s first Senator, in 1800. The homestead has preserved “A Place in Time” and consists of a dwelling house, chick house, salting and smoke house, outhouse, loom house, shelter for farm equipment, hog pen and corncrib.
