The Downs Cemetery
The Downs Cemetery is located along Highway 24 at the north edge of town. There are many pioneer stories silently told in the old markers, as well as markers dedicated to Civil War participants, and veterans of the World Wars. There is a large memorial dedicated to the John Ise family with names of many family members honoring their pioneer spirit.
