The Island Inn Dining Room

The Island Inn is a contributing structure in the Ocracoke District of the National Register of Historic Places. The main two-story, gable-front portion is the original building and was built in 1901 as the Oddfellows Lodge of Ocracoke. Today, the Island Inn and Dining Room, in keeping with longtime Island tradition, provide for your pleasure the same “laid back” atmosphere of bygone days, and welcomes you to the oldest and most historic Inn and Restaurant on the Outer Banks. During the off-season, we provide a full breakfast from our dining room with room rental.
