The Rocks – Gemstone Mining

Located in the heart of North Carolina, Royce Reeves and Curtis Casey have brought the fun and excitement of gemstone mining and gold panning for all ages to central North Carolina. We also feature an on-site gift shop were you can purchase mineral specimens, custom jewelry and more. Located in Chatham County.The Rocks located outside of Pittsboro is the place to go for mining gemstones in our unique no-water sluices. Clean and efficient, our gemstones are packed in sand. We also have a portable no water sluice, giving us the capability to come to your school, function, birthday party or event.
