The Twin City Opera House

The Twin City Opera House is one of the most beautiful and unique theaters in all of Southeast Ohio. Seating over 500 people in a classic Victorian atmosphere the theater shows first-run movies every weekend and presents a variety of live performances throughout the year.

In addition to the weekend movies, 2007 brings to the stage and screen some very special events including: Harry Potter Week from August 14th through the 21st, Morgan County Star Power at the theater on August 25th and September 1st and ending September 6th at the Morgan County Fair, and The Magic of Steven Knight presenting his well-known Halloween Show.

The Twin City Opera House is also "home stage" to The Ohio Valley Opry, a locally produced Country, Gospel and Bluegrass variety show performed on the 3rd Saturday of each month and featuring performers of local, state and national recognition. It's most often a full house so it's best to come early!

The theater is open for tours and available for special events, such as weddings, receptions, birthday parties or reunions. It's rich history, unusual first floor auditorium and fully functioning "fly" system make this a popular stop for theater historians.
