Established in 1891, UNCG boosts 16,000 students and more than 800 faculty members, making it the largest university in the Triad. Located near downtown, it awards bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees and offers a variety of cultural programs. Home to Weatherspoon Art Museum. Cultural programs offered by the University Concert/Lecture Series and the School of Music, the Departments of Theatre and Dance.
