Waccatee Zoological Farm

Located within a 500-acre farm in Socastee, the Waccatee Zoo contains over 100 species of animals. Meet Chico the Chimpanzee, Tony the Tiger, Booger the Bear, and Zig Zag the Zebra. Spend some time at the petting area where soft bunnies and baby goats nibble food right out of your hand. From buffalo and deer to a variety of big cats, Waccatee Zoo is a wonderful way to spend the day. Waccatee Zoo is also a natural wildlife sanctuary and breeding ground for several species of migratory birds, as well as alligators.
