Webster County Wood Chopping Festival

Each Memorial Day Weekend the “Southeastern World Championship Woodchopper” Title is won at the Webster County Woodchopping Festival in Webster Springs, WV.

Our many exciting events include Woodchopping, WV State Turkey Calling Championship, WV State Fireman’s Rodeo Championship, Car and Motorcycle shows, arts & crafts, parades, live music shows and fireworks.

Week-long activities are scheduled at various times, with Saturday and Sunday activities from 8:00am to 10:00pm.

Daily admission fee is $3.00 for ages 10 yrs. and up. Ages 9 yrs. and under are free.

Directions:

Take I-79 to Flatwoods, take Rt. 15 E to Webster Springs. From Birch River, take Rt. 82 to Webster Springs. From Summersville take Rt. 41 to Rt. 20 to Webster Springs.
