Webster Wildwater Weekend River Festival & Race
The Webster Wildwater Weekend is a festival to celebrate the beauty of the Upper Elk Watershed with a variety of events.
Location: Baker’s Island, Webster Springs
Activities: 8am – midnight, Race is at noon
Admission Fees: None for spectators
Fun for whitewater enthusiasts and spectators alike.
Fun floats on Friday. Food, arts and crafts, and handmade goods on Saturday from 8am-3pm. Awards ceremony and blue grass music take place at Camp Caesar. Camp Caesar is also available for lodging, 304-226-3888. Additional fun floats on Sunday.
The race is a 5 mile class II – III dash down the beautiful Elk River. Chance to float other local rivers on Kayaks, canoes, and rafts.
Directions: From I-79, take exit 67, follow WV 15 East to Webster Springs. From Summersville take WV 39 East to Craigsville & then WV 20 North to Webster Springs.
