West Burlington Historic District Walking Tour

The Historic District is made up of 154 houses and buildings which represent an era of growth and prosperity which began around 1890 and continued into the 1930’s. The earliest surviving houses in the district probably were built in the 1880’s before the major construction boom got underway. The architecture of the district represents an impressive cross-section of early 20th century residential architecture. The West Davis-West Front-Fountain Place Historic District is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is designated as a locally regulated historic district.
