West Quoddy Head Light Keepers Assoc.
The West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and Visitors Center are in Quoddy Head State Park at the easternmost point of land in the continental U.S.A. Erected in 1808 and rebuilt in 1858, its distinctive tower is painted in red and white horizontal stripes.
Coastal views include the Lubec Channel, Campobello Island (home of the Roosevelt Summer Cottage), Grand Manan Channel and Grand Manan Island. Hike the coastal trails. Enjoy a picnic overlooking Sail Rock. Watch for Whales, Seals, Sea Birds and Bald Eagles.
